1001 believes that integration with neighboring communities is just as important as staying competitive on the market and offering its passengers comfort and quality.
Guided by this approach, 1001 accepts the commitment to create and maintain outreach projects that foster education and culture, as well as social and economic development among the communities where it operates.
Outstanding among the projects already implemented are the “1001 Museum on Wheels” and the “1001 Stories”.
It also supports travel and tourism activities through sponsoring the Rio de Janeiro State Guide Book, which provides information on every part of this State, showcasing local features, major tourism attractions and even folklore.
An active player in countless actions focused on traffic education and health, 1001 works through partnerships set up with other institutions in the many cities where it operates.
In addition to its own projects, 1001 also supports and participates in the activities of the JCA Institute.
