The 1001 town buses carry passengers in Rio de Janeiro, Niterói and Nova Friburgo. Each of them seats fifty passengers, with non-slip flooring and smoked glass windows. Many of them also offer air-conditioning. Designed for shorter trips, they carry thousands of passengers every month.
